The Sacrament of First Holy Communion

In First Holy Communion the children will prepare to meet the Lord Jesus in this very special sacrament. The First Holy Communion ritual celebrates the child’s second step toward full initiation into the Church. The Eucharist is the greatest gift that Jesus gave to us – the gift of himself. The Eucharist is a gift that takes a whole lifetime to understand; it is a gift that requires a response from us. That is why it is so special and why we must take such care that our children are well-prepared.

• To register your child for the Sacrament of Holy Communion, click HERE

​

• Our first meeting, for parents and first communicants, is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th, 10:00 am-11:30 am. During this meeting, you will learn more about the 1st Holy Communion Program and receive a full schedule.

​

• Communion class meets once a week on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. First communicants are expected to attend every class and arrive on time.

​

• The First Holy Communion mass celebration is scheduled for this spring on Sunday, May 19th at 12:00 pm.​
